How we use AI
We use AI to help extract factual information from public sources, write independent headlines and concise briefs, explain why a story matters, classify stories, detect relevant companies, sectors and countries, and generate SEO metadata.
What AI must never do
Our AI is instructed never to fabricate facts, quotations, numbers, dates or companies; never to copy distinctive wording; and never to remove important qualifications. Material numerical facts are preserved exactly from the source.
Human oversight
Higher-risk stories are held for human review. Every AI-assisted brief links its original source and is clearly labelled by content type so readers always know what they are reading.
